Each piece is hand-made. Due to the nature of the grown wood and the process of manufacturing technique, each piece differs according to the degree of drying or burning, the position of the annual rings or knots, etc. There may also be a small dusting of the burnt wood. I consider these imperfections as qualities rather than defetc.

The design of the jewelry box is inspired by the conflicting features that the jewelry itself often hides. Just as it can be opulent or modest, conservative or provocative, the jewelry box is made out of two contrasting materials, brittle charred wood and hard synthetic stone.
