Children's bicycles were designed in cooperation with the new Czech brand Rascal (Rošťák). During the development, emphasis was placed on minimum weight (which reached 5.6 kg for model 16), minimal maintenance (eg belt drive instead of chain) and ergonomics (sporty driving style, low seat).

The determining model for the design of children's bikes was the starting model with 16¨ wheels. The element of breaking the frame with a transitional connection of tubes in the area of the seatpost made it possible to reduce the ground clearance and thus the age for beginner cyclists. This feature is a hallmark of all Rascal bike sizes.
