The hand-carved pipe was created by the method of polygonal modeling of 3D objects in computer graphics and subsequent manual processing by traditional carving techniques.
 The polygonal shape is based on  grown briar. The pipe is made to order and before it is made, a digital design of the pipe is created according to the direction of growth of the spice.
